As part of our ongoing commitment to excellent customer services, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions with their accompanying answers. If you’re looking for additional information - get in touch today.
What type of items do you custom build ?
We build a wide variety of items for both indoor and outdoor use. Indoor pieces such as barn door cabinets, coffee tables, side tables, and benches. Plus many outdoor pieces such as picnic tables, herb gardens and potting benches. If it's made from wood and will fit in our shop, odds are we can build it.
How do I inquire about having something built ?
That's easy. Simply send an email telling us about what you would like have made. Send any reference photos you may have depicting a similar piece and we'll get back to you as soon as possible to discuss your project.
What does it cost to have something custom made ?
That's an impossible question to answer without knowing what it is you would like made, the size, the quality of materials you would like used, shipping charges, etc.. But an email with a description of what you would like and the size would allow us to make a ballpark quote that could be narrowed down with a few questions.
Can I supply my own materials ?
Yes in most cases you can as long as we agree they're usable. But a word of caution....things don't always go according to plan during the building process and materials are sometimes ruined and the job has to be started over. For that reason we offer no guarantee that your materials will not become unusable for the build nor will we agree to replace those materials that do become unusable.
I need my order in a hurry
While we work very hard to complete and ship orders as quickly as quality work allows, we place orders on the production schedule as they come in. This is the only fair way completing customer orders, Custom orders do not get placed on the production schedule until they are approved in writing and paid for. This is to protect us from misunderstandings.
Turn around times depend on a variety of factors such as but not limited to...Number of jobs currently on the schedule and availability of materials.
Why is the price higher this time ?
We ask our suppliers the same question ? If we get a price increase on materials then we have no choice but to pass it along.
